An open Rolls-Royce with a storied past.

One of the H.J. Mulliner Drophead Coupe “Adaptations” of the Silver Cloud II, this left-hand-drive example was delivered new to Chicago businessman Samuel G. Rautbord and later owned by New York real-estate developer Lewis Rudin—widely known as “Mr. New York.” It was comprehensively restored by Automotive Restoration Inc. and presents beautifully in white over red.

Refurbished by Automotive Restoration Inc. of Stratford, Connecticut, including a full engine overhaul and extensive suspension and brake work.

Original 6.2-Liter V8

The matching 6.2-liter V8 breathes through dual SU carburetors and drives through a Hydra-Matic four-speed automatic transmission.

White over Red Connolly

Refinished in white (originally Whitehall Grey) over red Connolly leather, with a red power-operated convertible top and matching top boot.

Coachbuilt Cabin

A split front bench and rear bench in red leather, burl walnut trim across the dash, doors and windshield surround, and Wilton wool carpets.

Fold-Out Picnic Tables

Rear-seat fold-out burl picnic tables, electric front windows and a push-button Motorola radio equip the cabin for grand touring.

Spirit of Ecstasy & Lucas Lamps

Finished with the Spirit of Ecstasy mascot, Lucas driving lights, bright bumpers with overriders, and 15-inch wheels wearing wide whitewall Firestone tires.

Documented History
